We’ll evaluate current knowledge and understanding of the game
Chess is as much a mental battle as a physical one. We teach children how to cope with pressure and emotions.
Strategy & Tactics
As students progress, we delve into strategic planning and tactical patterns. Kids learn how to plan their moves, anticipate the opponent’s ideas, and solve chess puzzles (like forks, pins, and checkmates) to sharpen their problem-solving skills.
Chess Basics
We introduce beginners to the fundamentals of chess – how the pieces move, the rules of the game, and simple strategies to get started.
Game Analysis & Review
A big part of improving is reflecting on games. We regularly review our students’ games (and famous games by chess masters) to identify strengths and weaknesses.

How Our Online Lessons Work
Live Online Lessons:
Classes take place via live video conference (using Zoom), allowing students to interact with their coach and classmates in real time. In each lesson, the coach introduces new concepts and strategies, demonstrates them on an interactive chess board.
Practice Assignments:
To reinforce each lesson, our coaches give fun practice tasks or puzzles for students to work on between classes. Your child can complete these at their own pace at home.
Game Days & Tournaments:
We place an emphasis on actual play. We schedule regular game sessions where students play full chess games, either against their classmates or in supervised online tournaments.
